About Nataliya Rodionova – VARONA Sustainable Fashion Designer

Brand Philosophy
“
VARONA does not understand darkness as a comfort zone.
In a world where monochrome often promises safety,
it becomes a space of tension.
Not as retreat.
Not as protection.
But as a stage for contrast, colour, and controlled intensity.
Architectural lines shape the body like space.
Colour interrupts expectation.
Silhouettes carry presence.
VARONA is not a symbol.
It is a decision.
A darkness that does not hide —
but defines.
Sustainability
VARONA follows a sustainable fashion approach based on low-waste production, digital prototyping, and precision small-batch manufacturing.
I use a carefully curated selection of recycled and low-impact materials:
- Recycled wool and wool-blend yarns — reducing textile waste.
- Recycled polyester (rPET) — fibers derived from post-consumer plastic.
- Organic cotton — certified cotton grown without pesticides.
- Regenerated cellulose — next-generation fiber.
- Deadstock fabrics — surplus textiles from European manufacturers.
- Hemp blends — durable and breathable fabrics.
- Bio-polyester — plant-based material from renewable sources.
The goal is to combine high-end fashion design with minimal environmental impact.
